Echoes of Peace Ancient Wisdom for Modern Life

So, a while back, I was deep in writing a book. It was going to be a real page-turner called 'From Mormonism to Shamanism.' I'd poured my heart and soul (and like, over a hundred pages) into it. Then BAM! I went to this 10-day iboga retreat. Think of it as a cosmic Q&A session with…well, let’s just say some VERY powerful medicine. Naturally, I asked about my book. The answer? A resounding 'Nope!' The medicine basically told me to trash it. (Insert dramatic gasp here.) All that work, gone! But then, my brain decided to project a vision: the words 'Truth, Simplicity, Gratitude, and Love' in bright pink and red letters appeared in my minds eye as clear as a movie I might be watching. Undeterred (or maybe slightly dazed), I tried writing the book for grown-ups. But it was like trying to push a boulder uphill. Then, a friend casually mentioned how much they loved teaching kids because they were so much more open to learning. And a lightbulb went off! My book wasn't for grumpy adults; it was for kids! I cranked out the whole thing in a day, and even though my artistic skills were basically stick figures, I drew and painted all the pictures in three. It just felt right, like this was the book I needed to write. I have since reworked the book and repainted all the pictures a few times. It has been a labor of love! Truth, Simplicity, Gratitude and Love is really for the kid in all of us. Two birds, one book! I hope you and your little ones enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
